Orientating Through Seeing

somatic practice

This practice invites you to gently bring your attention to what is around you.

Through guided shifts of your gaze, we begin to notice the simple details. Colours, textures, light.

By moving slowly and with curiosity, we give cues to the nervous system that it is safe to soften, helping support a greater sense of calm, grounding, and presence.

This practice offers a gentle way to reconnect with the present moment while gradually reorienting to your environment and body.

A woman with closed eyes and clasped hands in a prayer position, wearing jewelry and a cream-colored blouse, with a plant and shadow patterns in the background.

This is my go-to tool when I feel overwhelmed, anxious or when emotions feel especially intense.

It is a simple practice, yet its effect on the nervous system can be felt deeply.

You too can return to it at any time you need nervous system support.

Your presence felt steady, warm, and spacious, like you were gently holding the container without needing to fill it.
